Welcome to class 9 😀

This autumn term we have been improving our Welsh.Every week we have a different "helpwr heddiw". It is their job to encourage the class to learn new Welsh phrases, ask and answer questions in Welsh and read in our new "cwtch cymraeg " reading area. It is a very important job! Angel, Chioma, Kyron, Patrick, Lilly May, Amiee and Lauren have all been Helpwr Heddiw this term. Everyone will get a chance to do this very important job! 

Science Experimenting!!!

We have been very busy experimenting this summer term. All the year 4,5 and 6 children in classes 8,9 and 10 have been investigating how different substances can be dissolved in water. We have learnt lots of new scientific vocabulary -Soluble, insoluble, dissolving, solvent,solutions, suspensions- Test your child what do these mean!! We have also looked at dirty water and how it can be filtered to make it clean. Look at the website below to see how we can clean our water.

Welcome to class 9 

Class 9 have recently been on a trip to Cardiff Castle. We all had an amazing time and learnt a lot about WWII. We spent time in the old air raid shelter within the walls of Cardiff Castle and listened to a very interesting talk about the history of Cardiff during the war. We also sang some old songs of the time. - we'll meet again and Hey Little Hen  Class 9 will keep you updated with all the news from our super lessons.
