Mr Simmonds and Ms Mussa are really happy to be welcoming year 6 back to school. We are looking forward to a fun filled, safe and productive year!
A little bit about us....
Mr Simmonds is a keen sportsman, he loves football - supports Cardiff, he also plays cricket! Despite all his interest in sport he is also a crisps guzzler and is particularly partial to ready salted!
Mr Simmonds favourite subjects are PE and IT - he is always helping to sort out Ms Mussa's computer!
Ms Mussa loves the beach and sealife - her favourite animal is a dolphin! During lockdown Ms Mussa took up running and so far the longest distance she has run is 10.3km (the .3 is very important!)
Ms Mussa's favourite subjects are Maths and Art - she is always helping Mr Simmonds with drawings!
As part of our first full week back we have been reminding ourselves of how to keep our wellbeing up.
We know how to stay happy and how to make ourselves feel happy using a simple five step method....
The children have completed various jobs and activities related to each on throughout the week...ask them how you too can use the steps!
GIVE - another step to wellbeing.
When we give something to someone else we have a great feeling of amazing happiness. The children have created trophies and thank you cards to give to special people in their lives!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
