Meet Our Class Team! 🌈

We are so excited to welcome you and your children to our class! We are looking forward to getting to know each child and supporting them as they learn, grow and have lots of fun throughout the year.

 

👩‍🏫 Mrs Rees - Class Teacher
Mrs Rees will be in class Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

 

 

👩‍🏫 Mrs Moulder – Teacher
Mrs Moulder will be in class every Wednesday, as well as every other Thursday.

 

 

💛 Teaching Assistant – Mrs Chatfield
Mrs Chatfield is our wonderful Teaching Assistant and will be supporting the children throughout their learning and play.

 

Together, we are looking forward to creating a happy, nurturing and exciting classroom environment where every child feels valued, confident and ready to learn. We can't wait to see all the wonderful things they will achieve this year! 

Important Information for Parents 🌟

We want to make sure your child feels happy, comfortable and ready to learn each day. Here are a few helpful reminders about our school routines and uniform.

👟 P.E. Days

Our P.E. day is Wednesday. Children should come to school wearing their P.E. kit on this day.

P.E. kit:

• Red or white T-shirt
• Black leggings, joggers or shorts

• Trainers

🍎 Snack & Drinks

A healthy snack is provided by school each day. If you would prefer to send your child in with their own snack, please make sure it is a healthy choice.

Milk is available at snack time. Children will need a clearly labelled water bottle containing water only. Children will have access to their bottles throughout the day and can refill them when needed.

🍽️ School Lunches

School lunches are free for all children and can be ordered through ParentPay.

If you need any help or would like more information about ordering lunches, please speak to a member of our school office team.

👕 School Uniform

Our school uniform helps children feel part of our school community. Our uniform includes:

• Black or grey trousers, skirt, dress or pinafore
• Red or white top
• Navy blue jumper or cardigan
• Black shoes or trainers
• Stud earrings

🏷️ Please Label Everything!

To help us make sure your child's belongings find their way back to them, please clearly label all items of clothing, shoes and P.E. kit.

Welcome to Our Learning Environment! 🌟

We have created a range of exciting and inviting areas in our classroom to encourage children to explore, create, imagine and learn through play.

 

💇‍♀️ Styles – Our Hairdressers
The children decided that our classroom needed a hairdressers, so Styles was created! This imaginative play area gives children the opportunity to develop their communication, confidence and creativity as they take on different roles and bring their ideas to life.

 

✏️ Our Writing Area
Our writing area is a space where children can get creative, practise their mark-making and develop their early writing skills. With lots of resources available, children can explore writing in a fun and meaningful way.

 

 

📚 Our Calm & Reading Area
We have created a cosy, calming space where children can enjoy stories, share books with their reading buddies, snuggle under blankets and use puppets to bring stories to life. It is a lovely space for children to relax, enjoy books and develop a love of reading.

 

 

🧱 Block Play & Loose Parts
Our block play area gives children plenty of space to build, design and create. With a variety of loose parts available, children can use their imagination, problem-solving skills and teamwork to turn their ideas into reality.

 

We hope these spaces provide children with a welcoming environment where they feel happy, confident and excited to learn through play. 💛
