Welcome to the Climbing Caterpillars class page!
The Climbing Caterpillars' class teachers are Mrs Harper every Monday and Tuesday and Mrs Dean every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The class teaching assistant is Mrs Harrison.
PE is on a Wednesday morning. Please can all children remember their kit! They will need a t-shirt, shorts/tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Snack is £1.50 a week or £10 a half term. Your child will be provided with fruit and milk/water.
On Friday, we have 'Funky Fruit Friday'. We buy a different fruit/vegetable for your child to try. Such an exciting snack time for them!
Every Friday, we send out homework for you to do with your child over the weekend. We ask for it to be returned by the following Wednesday, ready for us to get ready again. It is important for your child to have a go at their homework as it will have a positive impact on their learning in school.
We sing this every morning to get us ready for all the learning and fun we are going to have. Ask your child to show you the actions!
Jolly Phonics - The phonics song to help us learn our sounds. The actions and songs help us when we do our writing.
Guess what ... we are learning to count to 20! Listen to our favourite numbers song.
Here is an example of a welsh song we sing during Helpwr Heddiw.
Bore da ffrindiau (Good morning friend)
Sut wyt ti? (How are you?)
They answer ...Da iawn diolch! (Very good thanks!)
Check us out having fun in music on Marvelous Monday! We are great at singing and identifying different instruments being played in pieces of music.
