Online safety at home - Support and resources for parents and carers
These activities are based on familiar lessons for the children delivered by School Community Police Officers in schools and are carefully designed to reinforce School Beat's most important key safeguarding Internet safety messages.
The National Crime Agency (NCA) have launched an #OnlineSafetyAtHome campaign to support parents and carers during the COVID-19 outbreak and the closure of schools.
With many children now having increased access to the internet, this campaign intends to provide families with support and resources to explore online safety issues with their children.
The NCA have provided home activity packs for parents and carers to work on with their children. Each pack contains two 15-minute simple and fun activities, designed to be delivered using ‘Thinkuknow’ content.

The NSPCC and O2 are working in partnership to offer free sessions on keeping your family safe online.

The session will include an online presentation and a series of videos. The facilitator will also highlight at the beginning whether the session will allow for questions to be asked by participants.
