Born Bear, Brown Bear, What Can You See...

Still image for this video
During spring term 1 we have been planning, writing and performing poems based on the story β€œBrown bear, Breon bear, what can you see?” By Bill Martin Jr.

The children worked hard to include alliterations in their poems and then filmed their poems on the iPads, putting them together using iMovie.

Making a safety jacket for Humpty Dumpty

Shape My Street

We have had a fun morning with a visit from Wates Construction. We learnt about different types of houses and made our own model house. We then worked together to create our dream neighbourhood. We decided to have lots of green spaces, parks and a farm. We want roads but for bikes only and no cars! πŸ πŸ‘·‍β™€οΈπŸ‘·‍β™‚οΈπŸš²

HUMPTY DUMPTY by Daniel Kirk

We are looking at poetry in Literacy this term so we started off listening to the story Humpty Dumpty by Daniel Kirk. We identified all of the rhyming words and came up with some of our own!
