Welcome to Nursery and Reception Class 2023-24

In our Nursery and Reception class staff have a joyful approach to learning, using learners’ curiosity to make best use of teachable moments. We support learners in developing resilience and confidence through uninterrupted active learning and encouraging them to challenge themselves.  During each session, authentic play-based learning experiences both indoors and outdoors promote learners' independence and our natural resources support learners to find out about their environment, and develop an appreciation of the world around them and the need to take care of it. This promotes a sense of belonging so all learners feel valued and represented and ready to experience success along their learning journey.
