Parental Workshops at Meadowlane Primary School
This year at Meadowlane we are continuing our Parental Workshops. These are workshops where you can come in with your children and have some fun. It is proven that when children see their parents engaging with school life they learn more! These sessions are informal, fun and a really good way to meet other parents and build friendships.
If this is something you would like to be involved in, please do come in on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 2pm. You will be greeted with a very warm welcome and a cup or tea or coffee and a biscuit.
Parent Sessions - Wednesday's 2.00pm - 3.15pm
From now until the end of term I will be running sessions where parents can come in and work alongside their children.
We do art and crafts, cake decorating and have lots of fun. Its a good chance to meet other parents, share tips and ideas and make friends. Please do come along and join us!!
Parent Vision Workshop - 10th May 2016
Thank you to our parents who attended the Parent Vision Workshop this morning - your input and ideas were much appreciated. If you feel like there is more you would like to add - please do write your ideas on and either pass them to Miss Price or Mrs Langson.
Coffee Morning - 21st April 2016 - A huge thank you to the parents, grandparents and carers who came to our coffee morning this morning. We had a lovely time and it was nice to see parents getting to know each other and talking and sharing stories about their children and what they think works well at the school. Please keep a look out for the Parent Vision Workshops that we would really like you to be involved in, in moving Meadowlane forward.
Vision for Meadowlane
What do we want for the children of Meadowlane Primary School?
What skills do the children need to move on to secondary school?
What is important to you about your children’s education?
The School Leadership Team are working together to write a vision and the aims for Meadowlane Primary School. To do this important piece of work, we would like children, parents, staff and governors to contribute their thoughts and ideas.
We are holding two sessions for parents to contribute to the school’s vision and aims:
Tuesday 10th May, 9am – 10am
Wednesday 11th May, 2pm – 3pm
We hope to see you all at one of these sessions.
