Welcome to Year 1 and 2.

We have three classes for our Year 1 and 2 children. These are:

• Dosbarth Teifi - Mrs Milner is the class teacher and Mrs Hensen is the teaching assistant.
• Dosbarth Lugg - Miss Mogford is the class teacher, Miss Buglass is the teaching assistant.
• Dosbarth Ceiriog - Mrs Rees is the class teacher, Mrs Newnes is the teacher assistant.

Mrs Harper will be teaching Dosbarth Ceiriog on a Wednesday and Dosbarth Lugg on a Thursday.

We look forward to getting to know your children and having a fun year with exciting experiences! 

Each class has a Dojo page where we will post information and pictures. Please ask the class teacher or Mrs O in the office if you are having any problems connecting to the class page.

Uniform 

Please remember that school uniform is compulsory this year and parents will be contacted if the children arrive to school in the wrong uniform and/or shoes. Please label your child’s clothes… it’s a lot easier when they end up misplacing jumpers and cardigans!

• Navy sweatshirts or cardigans;
• White or red polo shirts;
• Grey or black trousers;
• Grey or black skirts or shorts;
• Blue and white checked summer dresses;
• White, black or grey tights;
• Plain black school shoes or plain black trainers (shoes and trainers must not have white or other colour soles or logos)- all shoes should fasten up so children can run around (no slip-on shoes, flip flops or sliders)

Snack

• Snack must be a piece of fruit or vegetable only
• Drink bottles for water only - no squash or pop.
• Children have access to their water bottles throughout the day
• Snack boxes and water bottles must be labelled with child's name
• Milk will be provided daily

P.E Days

Wednesday- Dosbarth Ceiriog

Thursday- Dosbarth Lugg

Friday – Dosbarth Teifi

Children are to come to school in the correct PE kit, which is listed below:

• Trainers 
• Plain black shorts/leggings/jogging bottoms (depending on weather)
• Plain white or red T-shirt 
• Plain navy or black jumper or school jumper/cardigan
